The PT-76 saw a lot of action in the Cold War.
The North Vietnamese Army were the first to use it in combat --- it was a huge shock for US troops in the garrison at Lang Vei, when a dozen tanks came pouring out of the jungle toward them!
The Indian Army used them later against Pakistan, but with mixed results. A lot of them got pounded.
There's also one thing about this tank that's particularly awkward; it has a crew of three, with the Driver operating the vehicle and the Loader reloading the gun. That leaves observation, radio communications, gunnery, operating the MG, commanding the platoon, and commanding the vehicle ALL to the TC alone --- talk about a heavy workload!
