Leopard 1A2. Has the same track configuration as the M1A1/A2 Abrams; heck, we even borrowed the Rheinmetal M256 120MM smoothbore cannon of the Leopard 2 and put it into our M1A1s. I remember having that model in my old armor collection.

M256 are the license produce cannons of Rheinmetalls L/44 .

Don't know maybe when they get the license . Btw here the L/44 weren't produced very often now . Never seen one close there at Rheinmetall , but for months L55 and L52 (155mm) .

wow, I'm digging that war emergency flatcar. Always funny to see one overseas. They where basically American designs modified. Those arch bar trucks and journal boxes scream US Railroading. XD

It sure just looking American because the German "Bundeswehr" had before that " thingy" only American tanks in use, if the flatcars had been brought here after or even in the war i don`t know . The only thing i can say certainly is the fact that the thing on the flatcar is an Leopard 1 tank , first German build tank postwar and the reason why the Bundeswehr never used the American M60 tank .

I'm speaking about the flatcar underneath. ^^ I'm a train person, and just got a kick out of seeing an American design overseas is all.
