The previous owners of earth destroyed themselves. Biological warfare worldwide destroyed them and their genetic code. Yobancorp at the time had the ability to remake the world; they used animal genetics to fill in the gaps of what was left of the previous people. The new people were called Meta. The first Meta were made for a purpose. They wanted the world to resume about where it left off. The first Meta made were called civ. These people were to make things work like the buildings, computers, and the trains, and fill the world with Meta who could pick up where things were. Then the Mus were made. The owners of Yobancorp believed that without culture you cannot have civilization. The Mus were created to encourage culture; to draw, paint, build, and inspire the new world.
Much time has passed since then. The world is now thriving with life. Yobancorp only makes a few new Meta to fill in the empty spaces left. Life as it is thrives and supports itself. New children are born as old Meta die. Demand calls as technologies are invented and as people need new inspirations. Kat Vixen was born a Mus. Her parents, who were sterile, offered to be the vessel for her arrival. Lissa and Mark agreed that they would bring a artist in to the world, not one who would make fine art, but one who would inspire Heroes.

Kat Vixen is a confidant and strong young lady. Her ability to attract people and inspire them is monumental . She is an artist who some day will make a wonderful thing: a comic book. It will bring hope, assurance, and inspire people to be heroes. Kat also has an odd sense of humor that is wonderfully balanced with her sense of being.
