darnity darn darn... I wanted to play SRW AP. how'd ya rate it against SRW MX for the PSP?

well, MX is a direct port where the only thing is the reduced resolution, but still beautifull to see, and the maps not featuring 3d models of your units, thou I kinda like it better this way.
AP is a remake of the GBA game, who I didn't like much since I anjoy my units properly moving into kickass scenes. The big thing about AP is obviously the story and that it uses the Alpha 3 engine with same animation for units that are common for both titles plus some new animation, dynamic kills and of course use of OGs ownation sequences for the original units. The resolution is better than MX but the maps are full 2D. In a way it's better because it fits and it has some great filters to make the image look good on a psp screen. The Unit icons are the heads of the units, classic SRW style and the music is Alpha3/OG quality.
All in all, it's an awesome game, some people is dissapointed with the animation recycle but they recycle animations all the time! I'm just amazed that they did a PS2 quality SRW for a psp and it looks and feels great! ^_^
