Recently I took care of my friends' betta fish, Caramel while they were both out of the country traveling. I had no idea how distinct betta fish personalities could be until I took care of Caramel! I hadn't a clue what I was getting into either and wound up falling completely in love with the little guy! He was such a joy and such a little lovable brat as well, that I decided I wanted to draw him personified as a mischievous betta merperson.

Taking care of Caramel led me to want to adopt a betta of my own as well, and I will eventually finish the drawing I started of my own little guy! Until then, meet Caramel, and try not to fall in love!
