I'm making two wiggly tails to test out some ideas I had about shapes. The top one hangs low. I cut the pieces of the skeleton so that it has a low wag, too. Honestly I like tails that stick out more; it's easier to get them moving. The bottom one is small and perky! But the taper isn't as gradual as I'd like.

Tomorrow I take them outside and smooth out all the scissor marks. Then I affix the belts, pad the bases, then buy the skin materials. I've got a couple of craaaazy ideas for finishing I'd like to try out, but I'm also playing with the idea of doing a sort of YCH auction with these babies. I'll take pictures and videos when they're belted up and sliced, then I'll decide.
