Ever have a reoccurring dream that became lucid? I have... Feels like a year ago, I had a series of dreams where I was locked inside a mansion library. The only door I could exit from was locked. I had the dream over and over.
Since then, I started having lucid dreams (being aware I'm dreaming while in the dream). Being lucid, I learned to take control of the dream and use it as a playground. Until I had my reoccurring dream... then became lucid in it.
I thought I could control the door, and break through, pass through, magically unlock the door... Nope. A bust on the wall began to speak to me. I don't remember the exact words, but it told me that when I pass through the door, I'll already know what's on the other side. I haven't had a lucid dream since, and have had much fewer memorable dreams than ever before!
This poem sprung up randomly tonight, and I did it... and I honestly don't know if it counts as a poem... icon is a picture by me cause why not? And... yeah! Ta-da?

I miss them a lot! I never had nightmares with them. If a monster was chasing me, and I became lucid, I realized I could control what was happening in the dream. So suddenly I could fly, use magic, be scarier... Some lucid dreams I could go and do anything I wanted and had a playground within my mind. It was so much fun! I'm hoping they'll come back, and I've been having more dreams lately, so maybe!

I do! Funny thing is that I don't remember most of them. But there are three categories of the ones I do remember. 1) A problem is worked out in some fashion. 2) A surreal but mundane dream that I can't quite figure out. 3) It comes true. Utunu would say those are all coincidences but I have more faith than that.
