Anthrocon 2014 - Caribou Need More Caribou Sketch
This picture was done by 
caribou who I was so delighted to see was able to make it back to Anthrocon! She always does such wonderful works!
This is the fourth picture in a series I am having done from my Metamor Keep (http://metamorkeep.com) story "Parlay" (http://metamorkeep.com/story/Parlay1.php) where my character (the rat) and the character Rickkter (the raccoon) end up having an impromptu drinking contest on a batch of Caribou; unlike our lovely artist, this Caribou is a batch of specially blended wine. These two characters have had a long running feud as they come from rival clans in their homeland and neither of them is going to go under the table first!
At this point they are walking toward the vat of Caribou holding each other up more to keep themselves standing than from any desire to help each other out!

I do love how this one came out. I was trying to remember why it was that they'd be holding each other like that, but it figures that they're using each other rather than helping. They do have a slightly kid look to them but it works well enough. Obviously when you've been drinking you revert back to being young and immature. I'm still looking forward to the day these two get over their differences.
