I've always been partial to the Imperial Guards myself. Something about the 'average' guys putting up a fight against the universe's horrors is just too awesome. Sure, it's easy when you have a bolter and power armor, but how about a tiny lasgun and the 41st century's equivalent to a flak jacket?
Though the anatomy doesn't work with it at all, I'm amusing myself by imagining one of your lovely doe girls crammed into the armor, feeling like a badass defender of nature or something.
