The Sabre-Tooth Driver Dragon is an evergreen (non-hibernating) dragon used to pull viking sleighs. They are white, twice the size of a lion, with super scary headgear, enormous sabre teeth, and terrible claws. They are also just as trustworthy as a lion, tiger or bear, meaning you should not trust them at all, as they are known to eat their owners.

In How to Cheat a Dragon's Curse, Sabre-Tooth Driver Dragons pull the student's sleighs on the Hunting With Bows And Arrows On Skis expedition. Gobber the Belch's sleigh is pulled by One Eye, the leader of the Sabre-Tooth Driver's pack with a missing eye. One Eye drives Hiccup and Fishlegs' sleigh and saves Hiccup's life from Hysterics and a clifftop fall. He remains with them for the entire quest for the frozen vegetable that no one dares name.
