Bling’s Another Long Day Part 1

The final days of the P.C.A where winding down before the Summer break began but their was no rest for the weary.
Bling began his stretching exercises as he began to eye the opponent he had been set up with across the arena. He had been frustrated in his efforts for the past few weeks to set up a match with Team Plague. The school facility, with prodding from the new principal no doubt, had set up a new schedule of team and individual battle for the last few weeks of school. He had been told that Team Plague was booked and he had better look to keeping the Rebels in fighting trim. Privately he thought that Ms. Morgue had decided to keep him busy as possible, if only to keep him as far away from Methelza as possible.
Bling had to give Ms. Morgue some props though, she had been right so far the Muma had not even given a hint that he was on campus. So he had concentrated on his team and it was paying off. Bling was snapped out of his concentration as his match was announced. The sableye would be facing the quilava OA another team leader in a one on one battle. Bling smiled as he entered the arena, “Go time.”
Across the campus a stretch limo entered the P.C.A campus, it was a long black limo but the very end of it would make a mon think of a hearse. It creaked to a stop in front of the battle arena and several figures got out from its sides.
The first out was a honchkrow that took a long look around the limo. He took in every student and teacher in view and passed judgment on them in an instant, the searing eyes missed not one mon in the whole courtyard.
“It’s clear good sirs.” The large bird said as he leaned toward a window in the limo.
At the honchkrow’s word the doors of the limo swung open and a pair of ghosts walked out. The two where direct contrasts to each other, the first sableyes was dressed in a white suit that seemed to glare in the sunlight. He stood straight and tall his eyes shades by a feathered fedora. His sableye companion stood stooped over in clothes that seemed to be tattered and worn. But his gem eyes where wild and wide open to the world.
The next one out of the limo was a pretty lobunny, she was wearing a tight red dress that stretched out across her bountiful breasts and seemed to be on the verge of breaking.
The group seemed to form a small circle around the last door as is opened their eyes all searching the crowd. The first one out of the door was a young vespiquen looking posh and happy in a bright pink dress.
Everyone who had their eyes on the limo held their breaths as the climax seemed to have arrived. An elderly looking sableye exited and stood tall. He was dress in an expensive Italian suit, but his most striking feature was that his left gem eye had been split in two by a nasty looking scare that ran down his entire face. The elder sableye gestured and the entire group walked into the battle arena.
Ms. Morgue looked on with great concern, the Glinteyes gang had just come to the Pokemon Combat Academy. She followed the group as they entered the battle arena and took seats on the side lines. Ms. Morgue heard the oldest sable say “Just in time” as she looked into the arena. Ben was about to begin a bttle she didn’t have time to tell him that his family had arrived.
Meanwhile in the arena Bling and OA had just been given the combat instructions and stepped to opposite sides of the arena both of the fighters stood ready and tense. Bodies straining for the signal to begin combat.
TWEET! As the ref blew his whistle the two combatants charged toward each other!
Bling began with a Fake out attack and staggered his opponent back with him flinching from the attack, Bling quickly followed up with a shadow ball. OA grunted as the blob of black energy hit him square. He could feel it erode his defenses, the fire type made an effort to put Bling on the defensive with an odor sleuth maneuver but it didn’t deter Bling from his attacks. The sableye managed to hit OA with his confuse ray attack as his opponent tried to shake off the effects of the ghostly attack Bling began to hit him with his fury swipes. The quilava was battered back by the rapid hits, but he didn’t go down. OA then used his swift attack for a sure hit and to gain distance from Bling.
“Freaking odor sleuth!” Bling cursed out as the normal attack had its effects on him thanks to the maneuver. OA was keeping his distance back once again, Bling knew he had to close and use his power gem attack if he was to score some critical hits. The ghost charged OA Again but first hitting him with another shadow ball.
OA cursed himself as he failed to dodge the sableye’s shadow ball once again. He began to make his own plans and let out a sunny day maneuver for a first step. As Bling got in close he tried to keep him off balance with another swift attack but it badly backfired on him thanks to his confused status. OA could only let out a moan of pain as Bling rushed by him using a thief attack for extra damage. But the pain worked in his favor as it helped clear out the last parts of the confuse ray effects.
OA felt desperation he had taken so much damage and had only landed one attack, but the quilava felt his blaze ability kick in with a desperate cheer he went into his best attack a flame wheel that went directly toward Bling.
Bling tried to move out of the way of the sunny day and blaze reinforced attack but it was just to massive for him to dodge. The flames tossed him one third of the way across the arena from OA.
Both of the fighters where tired and hurting, both where just on the edge of fainting, one last attack would be all that was needed to put them out.
OA seemed to win the race as his swift attack went across the arean toward a helpless Bling who couldn’t dodge the attack. But the quilava’s joy was short lived as Bling shot out a fast moving shadow ball right at him. The two different attacks hit at the same time and the two fighters went down.
A draw was declared between the fighters after they had regain awareness. Bling scowled as he began to gather his things, he hated draws, plus he had that fight won!
“What did I do wrong?” Bling asked nobody in peticular as he scoped up his personal effects.
“You needed to pound that loser with your power gem not hit him with dark and ghost attacks!”
“What he said”
Bling looked up in surprise and grinned hugely at the ghosts now standing in front of him, he quickly jumped up and grappled the two of them in a hug. “Uncle Willy! Uncle Billy it’s good to see you two!”
“I shall take those for you sir.” The honchkrow said as he scoped up Blings things while his uncles greeted him.
“Thanks Caw, your looking good to.” Bling greeted his former butler as his uncles ushered him toward the stands.
“Hey their big bro.” Bling was smothered by another hug as the vespiquen jump down from the bleachers.
Bling pried his sister off him and kiss her on the cheek. “Hello princess, how much of grandpa’s money have your been spending?”
“Not nearly enough but I’ll have a big surprise for you over dinner Blingy!” The insect queen giggled.
“Dinner?” Bling asked the group as he turned to face the elder ghost. He quickly stood up a little straighter and tried to look a little taller in front of his grandfather.
“Yes dinner Ben we will have much to discuss all of us. Your future at the Academy. Your future training and many other things.” Gerald Three Gems Glinteyes said as he put his arm around Bling. The elder and two young siblings left the arena heading back to the nurses office to get Bling patched up before the big dinner.
After the last two had left Willy “Sparkles” Glinteyes turn to look at his brother and their butler caw. “O.K Cutter, Caw you two go and take care of your business around campus. Remember to keep it quick, clean, and quiet. No evidence must be left”
Billy “Cutter” Glinteyes looked at his compainion with a slow sick smile, his ruby eyes seemed be a little wilder as he smiled. “Time for us to Play!”
“Do remember Master Willy said quick and clean this time sir. The last job we did it took forever to get the stains out of the limo.” Caw said as the pair headed into the school going deep into the building.
“We ain’t taking no kid for a ride this time Caws. It’s just us and PLAY TIME HEHEHEHE!” Billy cackled out as they left.
As the Glinteyes gang went separate ways Ms. Morgue quickly left the arena hoping that they had not seen her. Quick and clean? No evidence? She had to find Methulza Muma before those two killers did!
