:D My first ungulate!
The scimitar-horned oryx is related to the better-known Gemsbok (or common Oryx), and is very endangered in its native habitat of semi-arid Africa. Despite this, ranches built specifically for sport hunting of captive populations are still doing a great deal of business. It's nearly impossible to search the web for images of this beautiful creature without seeing images of posing "Great White Hunters" next to the ruined dead. :(
So here's a lifelike image reffed from a zoo photo. Go life!
