Welcome, Foolish Mortals. Did you know that Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Lady Tremaine from Cinderella and Madame Leota were played by the same person? That's right, they were all voiced by actress Eleanor Audley. Except Madame Leota's face was actually played by Disney Imagineer, Leota Tombs. Now you may be asking, what does this have to do with Angelina Jolie? Well, I've seen her in Maleficent, and despite the negative reviews it's been getting, I actually enjoyed the film. And no one could play a better live action version of Maleficent than Jolie herself. So if Gullimero Del Toro were to direct The Haunted Mansion remake, he should cast Angelina Jolie as Leota. I think she could play it scarier than Jennifer Tilly ever did.
