Been playing lots of final fantasy XII recently. My favorite monsters are definitely these two near the start of the game.
The pudgy bird critter is a "cockatrice", its a very original design for being based after an actual legendary creature. And it plays a small roll during the game as a mini quest.
The other thing on this gal's tail is called a happy bunny, they're so cute but horribly annoying xD. Alway fun to kill them.

Anyway I drew this quick picture a while back and figured I may as well post it. I... actually forgot to draw the cockatrice's mouth open .___. so it doesn't look like its talking.
