"The Flim Flam Man" (1967)
During the first act the films main characters hideout in the woods inside an overturned L&N wooden caboose stuck in a creek. Their hideout gets raided by a group of townspeople who got shilled in a game of 3 card monty.
Today the culverts are still there. The track in the film was actually fake and ended just out of frame as the culverts were actually a jeep trail. The caboose was washed away in a flood in the late 1970s. Despite looking remote the scene was filmed right next to a MASSIVE distillery outside Frankfort, KY.

It isnt a jeep trail, least not an official one. Its the old right of way for what was once the Riney B then LN then CSX for a short short time. This was not a section of the railroad, but the path on the other end that is used for security of both the Old Crow and Old Taylor drive via this road to the plants. The bridges for the railways are still in place, but the right of way disappears after just past the bridge to snake into the two plants. You cant find the old railroad path past Taylor very easily as it was abandoned in 1935.
Cool picture though!
