Hey everyone! So
kangaroo-jack had a fun little chibi commission done for me for an artist on DA called
saikyoryuuougi
The picture was great, extra cute, but it doesn't seem that the artist looked at my ref sheets or previous works because there were a couple notes that the artist got completely wrong. Unfortunately, because with Wolf being such a basic character, muscular white wolf, the key details about him have to be met, but of course I don't blame the artist. Instead I just opened the picture in MS Paint and fixed the errors which included Wolf's eyes not reflecting light, and his complete inability to read.

It's a great piece and I appreciate that you wanted to get it for me. Thanks.
Artistic freedom is good and fine, but when it comes to a person's character the artist needs to follow the refs and other pics. It would be like me making a story about Oshelia and constantly referring to her as a peacock. "Artistic Freedom, in my vision she's a peacock instead of an ostrich". It's just disrespectful for the artist not to do the minimal research. I have a ref sheet and everything that provides all the details anyone would ever need on him.
