So after like fucking...9 months or something, I finally have a little something to show for all of this stuff I've been putting together. It's nothing fantastic, and its not even finished, but I feel much better now that I've finally started work on another track. I will be the first to say that this track will probably not be my best, but I will continue to work on it since I need to work on at least a couple tracks before I get used to this new mixing area. So far so good though, I feel fairly confident that after I get done with this track, I'll be fully settled in (at least my ears will be!) and ready to move on to much better track making. Also, I REALLY need to finish up my patchbay so I can actually utilize my nice rack units. After hearing what that sonic maximizer does to audio, I simply must use it on... EEEEEEEVVVVEEERRRRYYYYTTHHHIIINNGGGG!!!!! Seriously though, that thing is like magic. X3

I used only the Virus and the Bass Station 2 for all the synth stuff. Hardware takes longer but, its so much more satisfying. ^_^

indeed dude! I will say though that I've always wanted to have access to the power of the virus TI series (pun partially intended. XD) so that's why I got one of those, but most of the other gear I want to get will be analog or a very specific digital synth. But yea, tweaking knobs in real time is just plain fun, even if you end up making nothing in the process, its at the very least, REALLY fun, lol.
not too bad dude! Just really busy with work and trying to finish up the studio. I'm hoping to at least finish up this track sometime this week though, I probably won't officially release it though until I get my patch bay set up and I'm able to run it through my final FX chain. But at least it will be a finished project then!
