Flat colored TF/TG commission for:
BringBackTheDead
I love red tailed hawks! Their colors and plumage are so beautiful! Whenever I spot one, they always stand out from other raptors, by their bright rust tails. :D
Thank you BringBackTheDead! <3

Gosh reminds me when one landed on the deck right outside the door. We had a whole staring contest going on as I slowly started sidling outside. Few feet from each other. I wouldn't mind finding her with her beautiful plumage! <3 One of my favorite birds. We also have a family - the huge scraggly pines that make perfect high nests. The dicks next door shot BBs at them once and I screamed at them to stop, threatening to call the police which thankfully they promptly did stop, but the damage was done. So the poor birds have been a bit scarce since then... I hope they come back.
Birdmen are awesome... if she is a birdman? I'm not 100% sure if this is FtM (the tags suggest so?), but if it is... ohshit FtM TFs yiss.
Gorgeous art. Wings and feather patterns are a dick to pull off well, and you've done a lovely job. The shift and "flow" of the anatomy through each frame is also extremely well done. :D

Unbelievable... this is without a doubt my favorite avian transformation to date, and I am talking about having seen a lot of the stuff, including the old legendary stuff from gryf. There's so much about this image that I like, that I don't know of where to start describing what I like. I think one of the things that I like the most, is the facial structure through all stages of the transformation: you manage to create a beautiful, emotive facial structure through all stages of the transformation, while keeping the structure realistic: namely, the human element of sadness, and a hint of her original feminine nature, are still present in an anatomically believable avian structure.
You did an amazing job with the body structure as well: the alteration of her frame from male to female is subtle enough that, if it wasn't listed as a TG, I wouldn't have noticed; I would simply have thought she was gaining muscle mass because she was growing a powerful build meant for flight. That said, knowing she is altering to a male build, it is done in a strangely subtle, classy way: no need for a throbbing erection or gratuitous musculature... it seems strange to say, but it is a beautiful TG, rather than an erotic one.
the development of that beautiful plumage is another amazing part of this image... you did an amazing job giving her long, fluffy, attractive plumage that flares out in a beautiful way on her arms and legs, making this were-hawk more elegant looking than many of its ilk, without actually looking over-designed. the feather placement is also rather well done on the wings... oh, and you manage to make the wings look attractive through all stages of their growth... not a typically easy feat.
lastly, you did a great job with the talonhands and feet... I love the subtle way the fingers become more masculine, as well as the digits fusing even as they grow.
I will tease you on one little thing though: I noticed that you copy-pasted the wings on the last frame;) ... not that I really blame you; wings are a bit of a pain to draw, and the wing design is absolutely beautiful anyway... just the right size, thickness, with amazing placing of each feather type, etc. That, and the pose is straight-on enough that it works just fine that way... I don't actually get any of that "cheap trick" feeling... it simply feels like the feathers are in perfect alignment on both wings.
I'm going to love this picture for a long time, I think... thank you so much for sharing it...!
