I do try to experiment with new styles, or new note patterns, something to change it up.
But mastering has always been tricky with me, because it'll sound nice through my Gemini DJX-07's
but not through anything else, I'll notice hats too loud, or bass too over bearing, or some instruments barely heard.

This was actually mixed with my TurtleBeach Px3 wireless set.. I dunno how I captured such a good sound mixing with those!

What program did you use to mix this down? Adobe Audition?

The entire track was made in Fl Studio 9.
I used the internal Fruity Multiband Compressor on the master to keep things from clipping.
and as I built the track I set everything to a Parametric EQ to nullify certain frequencies and put forward ones that need to stand out.

It's tricky, but I guess I could say I have a natural ear for it, I am an audiophile o.o

Same here. I was in Orchestra for all of my middle school years, and 2 of my high school years, so classic music makes my ears perk
