Looks like a shoff-off at first sight, right? ^^ It isn't, well at least that's not my intension.
This is the place I spend a lot of my time, not only for playing EVE online or Everquest 2 (btw: Mo, I need your EQ name! ^^) but also for chatting with my friends and *gasp*! work for my company.
The laptop makes it look very geeky, but honestly, I needed this little thing for my education in Heidelberg in the landscaping master-classes! ^^;
The middle machine is my "most new" Desktop PC and already has more then three years on its back. The monitor is nice, especially for EVE space-battles, but the machine lacks some power to make proper use of it. Still, I'm a very happy burd... compared to some of my much older machines I can play without crash.
The right machine is 7+ years old and is mainly used for chatting. I do have EVE installed there, too... but it's more for a dia-show then to actually play. :}
The boxes allow me to listen to music. While I'm not a musician myself (not playing any instrument at this time, but Nel is doing a great job with the guitar! ^^), I love to listen to my favourits. In the times after my apprenticeship, I afforded myself a 5.1 system and I love it! ^v^
At the time, I was working on the fanart for Kory Bingaman, drawing Jim the maned gryphon. ^^ *draws again, yay!*
I'm amazed about the digicam. It is much darker in the room at night, even with the lights on but the flash would make it look like daylight. The black cup on the desk is my coffee-mug and has "Shira" engraved on the side. ^v^
The curtain covers a huge window that makes me look outside directly at the Black Forest. As soon as the weather allows, I'll make more pics. ^^
The pictures at the wall are oooOOOold... really old, but still dare to me for several reasons.
Posted to sate public curiosity ;P
Compared to some other hobbies, this is a cheap thing to do. I won't to any detailed maths, but if I consider others having to buy a fabric new car every 2-4 years, this hobby almost finances itself ;>
