Another fluff/floof story done for
Blackhorn Buck. This one features a custom race I designed for our group Terica setting. Enjoy!
If anyone's wondering, this is a visual for longtails: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11552214/

To say that Zwei wasn’t feeling well was like saying riding a unicycle across the Alps takes a fair amount of finesse. His insides were wriggling, his skin was shivering, and his limbs were throbbing. It was therefore rather impressive that he managed to stay on his computer long enough to receive a ‘get well’ email from one of his friends.
“Sorry you’re feeling so lousy. Hope this cheers you up! Just be sure to rest and get plenty of vitamin E~!”
There was a link in the email, presumably to a picture. The link took long enough loading for Zwei’s common sense to kick in—though a sudden wave of the chills helped as well. Zwei dragged himself into bed, not even bothering to close the browser. He fell asleep near-instantly.
The link continued to run while he slumbered. A loading bar shaped like a long, fluffy tail appeared on-screen. At the same time, Zwei’s feet began to twitch. Milky, chocolate fur sprouted along feet that were stretching out, lengthening and growing pads and short, blunt claws. The fur turned a soft gold as it reached his rising ankles, and the beginnings of a long tail poked their way over the top of his pajama bottoms.
Zwei continued to slumber and continued to change. Fur coated his chest and arms, returning to the same chocolate shade as it reached his hands. Fingers shortened as pads formed on palms. His tail continued to grow beneath the sheets, even as the rest of him began shrinking. Dreamy mumblings fell out of a mouth pushing into a short muzzle, and a turn of the head freed a pair of large, brown-tipped, tufted ears.
Energy filled Zwei the next morning. His illness had been chased away during the night. He threw off the sheets, leapt out of bed, and immediately noticed that everything was a lot taller than he remembered. He ran to the mirror and stared. Zwei was just over three feet tall now, with his floof of a tail easily reaching twice that in length. He padded to the desk and tailstood to reach the computer. The message just read, “Loading Complete! Hope you feel better!”
Zwei grinned as he bounced on his tail. There was only one way to describe how he felt: “Eeee~!”
