My doggie nieces, Dakota and Dallas <3 They are SO hard to get decent photos of, because they NEVER STOP MOVING (as you can see Dakota is moving here :C), which is why I never upload any photos of them here. If anyone is interested in seeing some more, I post mostly pet photos on my Instagram - http://instagram.com/alexriggs89
They are beautiful girls though (left is a husky, right is a wolf/Alaskan malamute/husky) and I wish I could get some photos that really do them justice!!! I have a hard time getting their eyes in their photos especially, and the wolf hybrid on the right has heterochromia, which is awesome. One day I will get a good photo of her face ;-;

Indeed! I have never owned a husky or personally known one before these girls; my sister has had the husky for a little over a year, and the mix for maybe 9 months. But the husky is a huge sweetheart <3 The mutt is a bit more detached and more of a trouble-maker, but I love em both :)
I can see the malamute in the right and the left one definitely looks like a ginger husky. Way cute! I love arctic breeds. How big is the malamute mix? I have a husky too. Does the owner ever bring them out for play dates? There is a nation wide group called H2M2 (Husky Huddle and Malamute Mingle) in various states that set up outings and dog park play dates for these type of dogs.
Aww, sweet! It's neat how social connections and organizations are made through certain dog breeds. I will definitely share that organization with my sister. She does take them to the dog park like once a week. I absolutely think she should take them more often because unfortunately her backyard is pretty small and I feel bad that they can't run freely like they were bred to do. But, they're her dogs, not mine so I can't do much about it. My sister Ashley found the red husky (Dakota) off Craigslist about a year ago, brought her to the dog park a lot, and met a woman who frequented there who has like 4 huskies. She gave Ashley the information of a guy who had husky x malamute x wolf pups, which is where she got Dallas. You know, I don't know how much Dallas weighs or what her measurements or anything would be, so I'm not sure how to describe her size. I can only say she is like a big dog. Not super big though. Vague, I know haha. Dakota, the husky, is pretty small for a husky. It's pretty cute how petite she is <3

Its great to see them running around with other arctic dogs. I had a malamute who was 92lbs and a husky/mal mix before the young husky we have now.
