It occasionally occurs to Kaia that dating your 'caregiver' (one of the less subjective terms that one of her disposition might use to refer to the usual person who... well... takes care of them) does have certain drawbacks. One in particular being that Tommy, being the responsible grown-folk that he is, won't take her out to the movies until she's finished her homework... And while she may have the notion that it's all fun an games once schoolen is finally over (an she thought high-school was rough) a clever mariner might recognize the book that Tommy is reading over. Truth is; you're never done schoolen. There's always more to learn and as you get older you realize that if you have the manual handy, as long as ye know where that's at, you never have to worry about forgetting... you can always look it up.
