I forgot to upload this after I asked the original artist to upload the lines!
A good friend drew this for me last year. So I colored it and used it for my FA avatar! Drawn as a filly because Chubeko is short short.
As for the blank flank. I don't think that characters changed into an MLP pony should get one since that would be that world's magic. Either because I'm indecisive or I find that characters are too complicated to be defined by a single, visual mark.
However there MLP characters with vague marks that could mean just about anything very much like the Mane Six's are vague enough or even matches their name but aren't EXACTLY the same. Twilight's is Magic. Rainbow Dash's is rainbow lightning.
Its fine that an artist picks an art tool for their cutie mark. But it gets weird when thousands of people use basically the same thing. Especially when a Cutie Mark is supposed to be unique.

Yeah, the whole cutie-mark thing can get weird. but they're not unique. Just look at Dr Whooves / Time Turner and Ramana / Colgate, they share identical cutie-marks, both have an hourglass.
I suppose you just have to have something that fits you, like my friend's pony has one that's a paintbrush crossed over a hammer, as he does art and model making. As for me, I've had a little symbol I've used for years, a sword with an Omega as a pommel, and that's what I used, as that's my mark!
Yours, well, I'd say that'd be a CD with a pen, as you do exclusivly digital art, right?

The whole thing about background characters having duplicate cutie marks is because of production cost. Its a limit of any show really.
And I wouldn't use a any kind of art tools for Chubeko's cutie mark because that's not how she identifies herself. A cutie mark should be how you identify your most powerful desire/trait/talent.
