I'll be in my bunk. Playing Space Engineers.
If anyone can guess what I patterned my own pictured fighter after (hint - it's from a [playstation 1] videogame!) I'll do you a quick sketch or something! Congrats to P9iko0!

Fuck. Is it this one? http://psxmedia.ign.com/media/previ.....el_fighter.jpg CR2 Enforcer
I played a game called Armadillo Run previously and it had the same concept, build whatever you want to make it work or not with physics attached. Just the goal was to get the Armadillo to wherever the goal is. It's only got X and Y axis construction but I played it for quite a long time so I could potentially get into this game just as bad xD
Weirdly enough, I immediately thought of G-Police, though that's rather wrong. (goddamn was that stuff sexay)
Quite so, haha! Quite so! Loves this game.
One of the most 'holy crap' moments me and the roomie had, was we were making a blast door, when I accidentally turned off the jetpack, and died from the fall. Then respawned in an emergency boat, crashed into a a piece of crap I jettisoned earlier, and my disabled wreck slammed right into one of our ships, detonating the magazine, exploding it in all directions, which in turn destroyed a lot of our station's infrastructure. We were so stunned by just how unlikely it was I would crash into something (on auto-pilot, I was in the kitchen) hours after it was tossed, and my ship would still be traveling into exactly the worst direction.
Also, it was quite an experience to spend three actual hours flying out to, and flying back from a merchant vessel that refused to derezz. Or that one time when I was counting down the very last few seconds of reactor power remaining, as we two were desperately flying for a wandering ship to steal its uranium, only for it to cut out as I was correcting the trajectory, leaving us in a horrible tumble in the cabin without gravity, and the doors locked. We managed to blast out a wall, so that I could jump out, which in turn had me miss the damned thing by less space than my engineer, and go spinning off. We like to play without gyros when just using the jetpack, so, missing was a BIG deal!

I think they made G Police as well! : ]
Yeah man, this game is full of moments like that. I feel bad because I play with my brother and we always save just in case anything like that goes wrong! Feels cheap though. It's amazing how much tension one can cause all by themselves and your own actions in games like these, where basically anything that happens is because of you (aside from asteroids :[ )
And yes - inertia dampners are for wimps.

Blame the Steam Summer Sale showing you new games which will break you. Literally.

Shit like that happens when your friends stay up all night to build heavy armor space battleships wrecking everything coming to close to our station. Only in Space Engineers. What a crazy game.
