-note this is the definition I find most suiting for ME there are others similar but yea c: -
Personal pansexual prideflag for myself c:
Pansexual does NOT mean:
I have sex with pans
I am bi-sexual (I like the person no matter the genders, and I dont go by the two sexes but the many genders)
I am intimate with physical objects
I sleep with everyone
I am dating more than one person
I find everyone sexy (I find soul attractive, not the shell
it comes in )
What it DOES mean: I dont look at someone for their gender or what they look like, I look into someones soul, and if I like you then I like you. I dont care if your a boy-girl-trans-intersex-genderqueer-genderfluid-genderconfused or all the others in between, I like YOU for YOU. ♥

this is nice but the "hearts not parts" is kinda obnoxious to be honest, gay people, lesbian women and bisexual people do not "fall in love with parts", it kinda implies that they ~don't see the heart but only the genitals~, which is, of course, not true.
Just because they can't physically be attracted to certain set of genitalia, it doesn't mean they "don't see the heart", it just means they are not capable to find sexual attraction to that sex, that's all. Gay men fall in love with 'the hearts' of other men too, same with gay women; sex is not everything.
I know you probably didn't mean it like that but that's kinda how it sounds?
like, using "hearts not parts" to represent pansexuality is just. kinda dumb tbh. Because you could basically say the same thing about any other orientation. After all, gay people don't really think, "hey, I didn't fall in love with your heart, but with your parts, lol!", you know.

You have your right to your opinion and I agree,
though I did not make this for that intention, "Hearts not parts" is the national slogan used for it, as a simplified term for the definition. It is not to point out that others do not find love only parts which completly false. As you had stated being gay, straight,or lesbian or any other sexual orientation just happens and this is the same for those who are pan sexual. This is more to state that we just dont have those barriers, and its not our fault, we just dont seem to have any specific preerence, and we find its about the relationship itself. Thats all this sexuality is, and its the only real catagory that suits people like me. Because I cant call myself bi-sexual if I have fallen head over heels for so many other genders as well. Its just that we end up falling for the person and hardly have time to notice the gender-because in the end it doesnt matter.
I was just using this as a statement for my place in life, and I'm happy with my sexuality, and it was never intended to offend you or others, just there to show our love for people c: because thats the only real way to put it. and I agree with you completely and I can see the misconseption
hope you have an awesome day

I still think it's ok because maybe if not bi or pansexual the person is 'irked' by parts to some extent, so not meaning arousal only by parts but not 'selective' according to parts either
and sometimes I am attracted to masculinity or femininity or whatever so I'm still aware 'this person is male or female', just I don't really consider the 'parts' of the person because it's a non-issue to me?
and I mean just my version of sexuality, as I was more open orientation-wise the less I thought about obvious sex characteristics like that, my version felt unhealthy like confirming my orientation with 'parts' so I think it's valid, if you think it's a non-issue to you
