I agree the slippers were a great touch. I had puppy slippers for year and years.
When I was in the Army we were allowed our own slippers and any time we would have an inspection my locker would get a few snickers from the crew because I would have puppy or kitty slippers. Nothing breaks up an inspection than having the units CO or XO start laughing when they open up someones locker.
