I tried to capture the colour of fur on the camera but it looks more ribena here than it does in real life!

it you add a slightly red tint to the stock photo it is closer http://blaxill.com/graphics/aubergine.jpg kinda like the middle one!
It is actually an exact match to the colour I used for the ref itself There is black guard hairs too! Makes a fantastic colour!

I dont think there is a single funfur on there! there are a few of the shorter piles that you have to watch for density e.g. for face shaving but everything else is gold! as they are designed for teddies.
