A piece I got on Friday June 13th (about 2 weeks ago). It makes me sad because I CAN NEVER SEE IT in my life, only photos or in the mirror which is really hard to do without 2 mirrors. Waaaah. Back pieces or piece in places non-visible to the wearer have never really interested me for this reason, but this seemed like the perfect place to get the piece.
Anyway I do love the piece haha, just kinda sucks also cause my hair covers all the time unless I put my ponytail over one shoulder or wear a bun (which I never do).
This was a flash piece I chose out of about 10 options, by Aaron Odell. My first non-customized tattoo that I've gotten simply because it looks cool. XD But only one other person got this piece, and they got it in teal.
It's actually more of a straight red color, not the slight purplish here. Instagram filters ftw >.>

The first thing I noticed, and the thing that remains really impressive, is that the eye is actually asymmetrical even though there's only one. A lot of artists would make it symmetrical to suit the design, but this is actually really anatomically correct! Props to the artist. And it looks nice on your neck too ;D
I have a tattoo on my right shoulder and I can see it if I peek over in the mirror but not much otherwise, I sometimes forget about it xDD

It's the Scorpio symbol, drawn in kind of a traditional tattooy style water pattern! It was original, collaborated between myself and the tattoo artist, so I have yet to put any pictures of it on the internet because I don't want people going 'oh, hey that's cool, I want that one' and then getting it too, because it's pretty personal to me :x
Sounds neat! I'm a Scorpio as well. And that makes sense not to want to put it on the Internet. I always feel a bit iffy providing concept sketches for a tattoo artist because I'm afraid their rendition of my idea will disappoint me XD But at the same time I know it's hard to describe a certain composition in words sufficiently to get the right idea across.
