This is the finished render from the Maya fur tutorial I recorded, which I am now editing. It covers the basics of using Shave and a haircut in Maya. Such as application, styling and some rendering.
The finished render for the videos isn't exactly incredible, But in future videos Ill show how to use maps for various functions including color and length. For now though I think the videos should be a good start for anyone who wants to use SAH but doesn't know where to begin.

I can use this. I'm trying to figure out modeling in maya now. I have the polygon part down, and finally UV mapping, and some bone-ing, but I ran into a problem. When I use the mirror geometry tool, the mirrored part is textured right, but the bumpmap is inverted when I render it? What am I doing wrong? I'm UV-mapping before I mirror because it's easier, and it seems to work aside from the bumpmap.
