While the average Cleer has shorter fur because it gets easily tangled/knotted and unmanageable, those born or living in higher class have longer fur due to being able to afford the best in grooming.

{Cleers (clear + seer) are aura readers. They can see the auras of others. The gems they are born with match the colours of their soulmate's aura (same or different species). The blinds are called Aura Blinds, and although you would think it would hinder their site it does not. The blinds are made with magic and only block out auras from their vision as looking at auras too much gives them migraines/headaches.}
