She's makin' "Hearty Adventurer's Stew" :D
Ain't no measurements, I never measure nothin' when I make it, but the ingredients run thus roughly:
BROTH:
- Milk
- Chicken/Beef Broth
- Dill
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic
- Meat stock
- Add water if necessary, to bulk it all up, or thin it out if over-seasoned (If over-peppered, add more corn; corn, plus the water its canned in, helps off-set too much pepper)
- Oregano (Very sparingly)
INGREDIENTS:
- White onion, cut into small chunks
- Carrots, sliced
- couple cans of corn (Don't drain)
- Flour (To thicken the broth; usually a few big spoonfulls. Mix in with the corn in a separate pot, then add to main pot)
- Meat, cut into chunks.
- Mushrooms
- Brown Potatoes, unpeeled, cut into chunks
- And, as an optional step, to make it all richer and a little thicker, grated cheese, mixed in by small handfulls, to make sure it's melted in properly.
Cook everything all together in the pot! Mix up the broth first, then add the ingredients by degrees of how long they take to cook; meat and potatoes first, then carrots, then mushrooms, onion, and corn.
