...I guess you can tell my art slump is receding.
Anyway, this is actually a picture I sketched and started on months ago, and has been sitting on my desktop for a while saying "Finish me! Finish me!" Well, because I kind of want this to be one of my "premiere pieces" at Bronycon when I put them with my vendor friends stuff (don't worry I won't try to overshadow them) so I decided not only am I going to finish this, but I'm gonna put a lot of effort into it. It's a lot like another piece I gave a lot of effort to.
All the while, I've been kind of developing my character a little more, T.C., the red gryphon on the right. Yeah you've seen him before. Well one of my ideas because of my love for one-off characters on the show, I've developed him as a sort of friend to Gustave when the two met in Canterlot, T.C. having heard of Gustave off of cooking shows that T.C.'s dad watches. Hey, if arcades exist in Equestria, no doubt television does as well.
Thanks to his father and Gustave as well, T.C. also has a passion for culinary arts, sorta based on how I want to learn some cooking tips from my own father. The problem? T.C.'s really bad at it, and I mean "OH DEAR GOD" levels of bad. So the story behind this picture was originally that Gustave made his signature eclairs, but somehow they were really spicy? I decided that the new reason was because the red genius on the left decided it would be a good idea to top a chocolate eclair with TABASCO SAUCE AND FUCKING CHILI POWDER.
So yeah, in short this is basically a for-funsies piece of work about gryphons eating hot food. Yay!

Nice pic! I think it looks better than my recent, "more improved" art. I know what you mean about the art slump thing. I got bored the other day and uploaded an older drawing, and the fact people cared to look at it made me finish another, and the cycle continues, as I just finished lining and coloring another. I guess we all just need a push every once in a while.
