Here's a close up of the russian fighter YAK-3 of WWII which served into the Groupe de Chasse n°3 "Normandie-Niémen" of the Free French Air Force. The "Neu-Neu", the nickname of the GC 3, served in Russia during the WWII after the RAF accepted to let the french volunteers help the russians on the east front.
