i finally made something 3d in a whole while. and i still don't know what i'm doing （❍ ＿❍ υ）　it's miles. his eyes are actually 2 layers. the pink part is an altered half-sphere with a hole in the middle for the pupil. the black part is a transparent sphere. it casts a shadow on the white skin, but since i set the pink part to not have shadows cast on it, the pink shows through. even though since it is transparent it shouldn't even be casting a shadow in the first place! confusing

i tried to make a UV texture for the pattern on the face, and i got pretty far with it. but, it didn't show up when rendered. clueless
so i just changed the material of the polygons on his face! pretty sloppy.
it kind of reminds me of those pony models people use for sfm
