With Michael Bay's next Transformers film on the horizon, Things are all Grimlocked up around here. I have to Grimlock this down or i might be Grimlocked out.

(This was a fun photo to set up, and I was lucky to get a short window of sunlight to do it)

And each of them are different versions too. One is the standard, one is the SDCC, and one is the Bruticus Gromlock combo pack if I am not mistaken.

Yeah, the only robot cooler than Optimus Prime. I guess Michael Bay's horrible, terrible version of TF just wouldn't be complete without a scrap-metal dinosaur with a burning sword.
Is that a LEGO Grimlock just left of center?

I'm sure this has as much to do with the fact that I haven't really followed Transformers much for a good 25 years, minimum, as anything, but for some reason, I had it in my head that Grimlock was a Decepticon. Maybe it's just my memory getting all Grimlocked up...?

I'm impressed. Grimlock has been one of my favorites ever since my mom got him, Slag, and Swoop as a birthday present. My first action figure was a robot that turned into a t-rex. What kid wouldn't be elated?

I don't have every Grimlock toy, though I do have a few that I either couldn't find or dig out for this photo, including Pretender (just the inner robot, no shell), and the Beast Wars recolor(s) of Dinobot.

That one's kinda old and busted up (one of the little dino arms is broken) I think it was part of a junk lot I got years back. I didn't know it was the rare color version until well after the fact.

he's got THIS collection all Grimlocked up. hell, there's even the frikkin McD happy meal version sitting in the front and the Alternators car version hiding in there. only thing I don't see is the beastwars Dinobot recolor or the G2 original mold recolor.
