Ever wonder how I can stay in 'suit for so long? Acclimation and lots of water. I was wearing a long sleeve shirt and black pants today and I was rather comfortable. When I get back to the states, I'm going to have to wear a sweater when I got fursuiting.

Can you convert that to a real measurement? Like Celsius or kelvin?

Rankine isn't a real measurement either. I shouldn't have to divide by 5/9 to get to kelvin.

No, its not... its not muggy, but its not dry either. Some one said the heat-index was 134 degrees.

Could be worse. I once had a digital thermometer that talked. Why in the name of Silicon Valley they designed it to point out in an endless loop that it was too hot over the temperature of 100+...indoors or out...I'll never know.

Its actually pegged out. It doesn't go higher than 122.0 degrees.

Holy crap, with temperatures like those, and what I'm assuming is a pretty high elevation (Afghanistan doesn't even have an ocean, after all) they must need a 10,000 foot long runway to take off...

lol, I always pick the worst time to go home. it's 60 here, when I go on leave it's 120.
It's like a ball of fire when I step off the plane... but I love it, fuck the 6 months of winter here and -40 wind chills.
