The most curious thing happened to me today. Woke up to find an emolga lying in the snow next to the camp fire. she was thin, hypothermic and hardly breathing, I could tell based on the tracks she had left in the snow that she had literally dragged herself the last meter and that she had been lying there for more than 2 hours. I'll be honest, she's very lucky to be alive. after warming up with some of the emergency blankets and some heated rations of food and water she was looking better, a little bashful, but better, so I took her back to my house where she could stay with the rest of my rescue pokemon.

she later explained to me that she was had been released there about a month ago by her former trainer after he had attempted to rape her and she had fought back. this also explains a view things. why she chooses to cover herself up and her initial distrust of me. it also explains why I found her so far north, her ex-trainer lives in Dendemille.

she's naturally shy and chirpy, but she's fragile and suffering night terrors. I still find her crying sometimes, all I can do is try and hold her and hope she trusts me enough to be her shoulder to cry on...
