This is the initial stages of foaming! This is about 4hrs work, only stopped because I ran out of hot glue!
You can see the basic shape here. This is however a donkey-raccoon hybrid and while the donkey shape is pretty good, I need to give it swishy raccoon cheeks!
Still another days work in this foaming so far. Unfortunately I cant get to the shops till Monday so I will be making the interior, teeth and eyes in prep for installing Monday night.
Gonna do some redlines when I get a chance to take better pictures!! I really need to wire the ears too even if they are wonderfully floppy right now!!
I am currently staying over night at work just now otherwise I would have just gone and got more glue today! I ran out at 9pm too! Nothing open v.v
Again I apologise for the image quality!! This is just a screen shot from the video. I am not in my studio right now so I cant really do much in the way of shooting.
I did however manage to scare the hell out of my manager when he came to check up on me! I forgot to tell him what I was doing after my shift haha he was surprised!!

thankyou very much! It is a raccoon hybrid so I am unsure of how it will look once the raccoon cheeks are added!!
unfortunately that spray is no good to me, it just soaks into the foam rather than forming a bond between the layers! I have a can here and honestly it doesn't even stick paper together for me! I must have either a dummy batch or very open celled foam. This is based on my experience of using it. I also find that if and when it does stick that the hold is very weak (to me - I can pull it apart easy while hotglue tears the foam, I know it aint going anywhere!)
Contact adhesive is an alternative for me but it is very messy and slow! Hotglue is my prefered material, lots of well known makers use it and it is universally a standard material.
