Personality: Oblivious, impulsive, optimistic, out-going, somewhat perverted (usually to annoy Frank), and a total mooch. He can't keep a secret to save his life, and his only redeeming trait is his absolute adoration for his friends. He'd never speak a foul word to or about them, and always insists everything about them is wonderful.
Other: His mother is a hotel receptionist, and his father is a mountain climber and guide. In fact, all three of their children are named after mountains. Elbrus and Elias after two different peaks, and Lhotse after the Lhotse Face on Mount Everest. Both his brothers, however, are 15 years older than him and left home pretty soon after he was born, so Lhotse was an "only child" for a long time. He made friends with Frank Kepler when he was six (Frank was two), and is still close to him even though Frank finds him highly irritating, which Lhotse doesn't really notice. He's skilled in shooting a variety of guns, and can shift into a big hyena. He's covered in tattoos that resemble his hyena markings, has a tongue piercing, and smokes. Basically Lhotse's the dude your parents pointed out to you when you were little and said, "see him? He's not going to get hired anywhere because of his appearance."
He lives in a crappy house in Maine, owns two really nice cars, and is flatmates with Frank for the time being.
