Yo hey man I don't know the first thing about how to chair but I'm pretty sure it's not like that bro.

maybe uhhh... maybe two chairs?

Might I suggest either an elongated bottom of the chair or that they sit on long cushions or chairs reminiscent of piano benches?

I'm with you on the long cushions, I think that makes the most sense with their anatomy.

I figure with taur bodies, Nalvots would sit like a four legged animal would. Something like a cushion or a short-legged piano bench would probably provide the most comfort.

Yeah! I'm not even sure about the piano bench, though! Seats in and of themselves are to rest the legs and to provide comfort during relevant occasions! It depends on the culture, of course, but some early cultures utilized seating predominantly for domestic occasions, such as during meals, and one thing to be noted is that even with all fours on the ground, their height would not be too greatly reduced! If one is to focus on domestics or even public socialization, I think that adding the extra height provided by chair legs would be largely unnecessary, and cushions would be more comfortable on all that soft tissue!

I always love seeing explorations into non-human anatomy and furniture! Just tails by themselves disqualify a lot of existing chair designs, and an extra set of limbs complicate the design process even more :P

Turn the chair around, place front legs on seat, then sit rear legs on haunches. That places all four limbs at rest and the seat's back-rest can be used to lean on. I've given this matter more thought than I should have...
