Anybody giving wolfdogs away for cheap/free is more than likely a backyard breeder. I never recommend such transactions for many reasons, most notably the health of the animal you are receiving. You are very likely to run into chronic health issues down the road.
Wolfdogs are NOT for beginners. I have been a professional dog trainer for over 10 years and I was at my wits end with this dog for a very long time. I recommend you read my reply to an ask I got on tumblr: http://generic-jackal.tumblr.com/po.....ctures-of-your
There are many very beautiful breeds of dog that are much easier to handle than a wolfdog. Please do some research into the dangers of backyard breeders or look into adopting a pup in need from a shelter.

Thank you! This helps me out a ton! My boyfriend just notified me about him having family members that sell wolf dogs and that they do training and they are well kept up in health. But thank you for that information. I know a little bit about backyard sellers. They can be dangerous and make the animal behave in a very difficult way to handle. But I shall take a look.
Giving you my two cents as I own white husky and even this breed can be a challenge on its own.
Like the user said above, do your research and find out what the dogs are crossed with as that also matters in the quality of the dog. Its an expensive venture to get into especially if the dog is a higher content.. they dont want to be kept inside.. and even if you manage to get them to tolerate being inside they are not like a placid domestic dog.. they dont do rules, they dont like strangers, and I dont even want to get into prey drive.
