How do you make one? Buy a 150W laser cutter which may cost a few hundred grand xD. I just happen to have access to one locally, all I want ^^

More in the average ballpark of $12-15K for a 150W CO2 depending on the manufacturer. A couple hundred grand will buy you a multi-kilowatt machine capable of cutting through multiple inches of steel. :)

Yeah, true. Mostly use ours for woods/acrylics but sometimes metal. Bed-space for cutting is almost 4x8ft, and the table's bed can move a little over a foot down before the laser head.

Yeah, I looked it up and the unit we have runs about 15G little bit more do to the specific model it is. But they're great, seeing you can drop the bed inside over 15 inches, which lets you etch virtually anything you can shove inside it. Had a guy the other day putting in a 40 pound slab of granite making tombstones for a friend of his, a business he use to be part of long ago

my mate does granite stuff also but not that heavy but yeah they can do anything hers can engrave paper if you wanted it to

That and thermal-gun testing. Needed the room to ourselves for safety and such. Lot easier to keep track of where 2 people are vs many people randomly entering during charging and such.
