Named after the dessert she loves so much. Macaroon's a sweet, happy and sometimes a bit air-headed thing that loves sweets.
Her breath has a constant sweet smelling aroma of natural gases her body produces that make her and the area around her smell like a bakery or candy store, depending on what she's been eating.
Her size/weight also varies and fluctuates depending on how much she's stockpiled and whether what she's eaten has digest into sweet smelling gases. Her metabolism is very fast, making her body digest the sweets rather quickly making her emit the sweet smelling gases and deflating her tummy a bit.
