Must be hard to carry spell components without clothes lol but I see you solved that problem very nicely.

I really liked the whole concept of the magic inscriptions being on her body. Something I haven't seen before.

The concept has been around but not seen too often. I've usually only read of it in books not seen it on screen.

If you don't mind the rambling the most unique one I've read about dealt with branding. Magical brands in this story could enhance almost anything, intellect, speed, endurance and strength as well as others. If I remember correctly the branding was a link between two people, one who gave and one who received. So it was usually only done by royalty or the very wealthy. I only remember for certain that intelligence was a linked brand because the story went into some detail about the giver who would end up a catatonic state. So usually only those who were in a vegetative state or similarly a burden on a family were used. If negotiations between the family and the supplicant were successful, care of the giver fell to the receiver who took the utmost care of their resource. This made it one of the most expensive brands to obtain because the family was typically paid a very large sum and then there was care of the resource the extra brain power came from. They were usually kept in the best of health because the loss of the link by eliminating the giver was catastrophic.

Another one was speed because there was no way to enhance bone strength in this world. Strength brands were also needed to help the body to be able to keep the body from suffering from the enhanced speed. One could obtain great speed but if they were not careful while using it they could easily injure themselves. An example, besides the obvious one of running into something) would be by turning to sharply and breaking the bones in the legs because of the level of the inertia as well as the enhanced strength of the muscles.

That's a very interesting concept. Seems like something I'd like to know more about
