Among my multiple scattered projects, I was able to complete one this week which I dedicate to Sparks' dad who is no longer with him anymore unfortunately, just as in real life. Somewhat sad, but reflective over the good times he had shared even though Sparks never really got to know his dad that well. His last days were tough but he's in a restful place now.

Wow! Someone else who knows about Tenchi Muyo! Now that was a fun series of multiple incarnations. I personally enjoyed Tenchi Universe myself. Though I didn't get to see a whole lot of Tenchi in Tokyo.
But I digress.
This is a wonderful animation. It makes me think of how this could be used as the end credits for an episode of a show all about Sparks and his life. Perhaps the series would have a focal point on Sparks wanting to know more about his dad through traveling about in search of those who knew him? Each Pokemon he meets who knew his father giving him different tales in which help build a picture that allows Sparks to go out and do what he feels would make his dad proud. Maybe the story could have a plot point on how Sparks learns of something his dad had always wanted to do but sadly passed away before being able to do it? This could lead to a lot of adventure in which would end with Sparks fulfilling his father's lifelong dream.
Definitely some great story material here. I so easily could see this made into a 13 Episode, or more, series about coping with loss, embracing the present, and proudly making way to the future for Sparks as he would learn about his dad, finish his father's lifelong dream, and know that he has not only made his father proud but knows his dad will always be there in his heart guiding him forever to be the best chu he can be. :)

Yes, indeed I thought of multiple ideas for a good comic/story for Sparks and this one might be the best one I heard ^^
As I'm working on commissions I will find time to work on a good plot, hey maybe this could be like a series without a definite ending? It would be an exciting project aside from the dressups and art :3

I agree entirely. You have done so much wonderful world building between Sparks and
pichuboy that I don't see any reason why you couldn't do the same for just Sparks himself. Heck you can even bring in friend characters to travel with Sparks along during portions of his journey of discovery. :)
The fact you have a plot setup about Sparks seeking to know his father and make him proud could add an extra layer to the story, too. As he meets up with other familiar characters he may inspire them through his story of determination to go out and achieve their goals. So Sparks quest could be one that positively influences a lot of characters as he continue to gather information on his father while working to achieve his goal of seeing his father's dream through.
If you add the layer of Sparks meeting other characters to which his tale would influence could definitely make it an ongoing series. The side quests would be less bothersome and more of a way to fortify within Sparks that he is doing his father proud by making so many others reach for the stars. There could also be a slight conflict with Sparks as he sees all these others getting inspired and achieving their goals while he wonders why he hasn't been able to do so himself. Eventually he would realize that he has been doing his goal by making friends and helping others but that wouldn't occur until you were ready to have Sparks reach his "Self Actualization". :)
