Well, ok, so where to start? I am finally finished with it! I have forgotten everything I wanted to say about this piece. Ha. But I do remember the important parts.
This is going to be my entry for OOMPH!'s (www.oomph.de) contest to design their new album cover. The only thing they gave us was that the album was to be named "Monster", so what better way to do it than drawing what I am good at? I took it like a nightmare, because monsters tend to show up in them. The scythe? Well, other than showing my respects to the Grim Reaper (my FAVORITE horror being/creature/thing), I wanted it to show how dangerous your nightmares can become. I did not make the blade look like metal, on purpose, I wanted it to be a 'ghost blade', because it is meant to cut your soul, not your body.
I had a lot of help with this piece, from two very generous people. Two who took the time to help me out throughout the entire thing almost (sooner or later you got to take the training wheels off though! Lol.). Those two people are =Shinerai and *dragonictoni, so please, go give them some love. They helped make this piece as great as it is!
Credit: texture stock in the background was done by ~SheisprettyStock. Thanks!
Thank you for reading! I believe that is it...
