Drum rolls!
A collaboration project with Komickrazi studios and Furr Happens.
Silverhuskywolf,
wolfish42 and I have been working on these bad boys for about 6 months now and they are finally "finished".
They will be going to San Diego Comic Con in July for the big Masquerade. We may add a few finishing touches between then and now, but for now they are pretty fab :3
From left to right we have Viserion worn by
Silverhuskywolf, me in Rhaegal, and the mighty Drogon worn by
wolfish42
(through strange coincidence we all picked our dragons and found they were all the same colors as our fursonas.... wtf? I guess it was fate)
We make a pretty awesome trio.

They say it's so the costumes are a surprise.
I understand although masq tickers are free, people do have to wait in line for them (sometimes for a couple hours)... then wait in line for seats inside the ballroom for the actual show.... so they want to make sure it is worth the wait for a big reveal instead of "oh, I saw that costume yesterday"
It does suck though, because it's a lot of costume to haul to the con to only wear for a day and a half.

Ah, I guess that makes sense. Though the long wait is honestly the reason I usually skip Masquerades at con. Plus it's in the evening and I'm dead tired from a whole day of running around, all I want is sleep! :P I really hope I can find you guys on Sunday, especially with my mom in tow since she's a major Game of Thrones fan.
I give you mad props for hauling such big costumes for the Masquerade. I just finished a costume today for a convention next week but I know there's no way I can get it to SDCC. I'm already nervous enough just putting it in my car for a three hour drive for the upcoming con. It's too fragile for mailing or being packed on an airplane. So good luck getting your dragons safely to San Diego!

Nice suits, no doubt about that, but I still can never understand why (as you said in the past) that they were a 'secret' project or something... I can kinda understand if they were meant to be one-of-a-kind suits and such (e.g. no imitations) but heck all you'd need to prove 'prior art' was a pic oc the suits under construction and a time and date.
