Decided to doodle up a caracal to try and get back in the hang of my felines.
Caracals aren't this color,
But I wanted to make him different and somewhat rare looking.
I wanted to keep this simple,
So there isn't as much detail in it as my usual works.

Oh, I like this. At the risk of endlessly repeating myself, I really like your feral art and I think you did a really nice job at capturing the right sort of lean and rangy feline look, too. His black and grey fur really works quite nicely, I think, even if you don't find caracals that color in the real world. It gives him a sort of mysterious look, especially with those bright blue eyes, and it makes him seem like he might be more than what he appears to be on the surface. Plus it does give him a rather stealthy look which definitely suits a feline down to the ground.
I particularly like his head and ears, and those lovely whiskers you've given him, and his dark fur and the relatively dark grass around him make a nice contrast with the bright blue of the sky above. It adds a bit to the mystery somehow, and his pose and that one cocked ear makes you wonder if he hasn't heard something tasty rustling in the grass. Or maybe he's just up to general mischief, as cats are wont to do. Either way, it's a lovely picture!
