[EDIT]
http://www.rachelracanelli.com/alle.....-progress.html
There's the previous versions - I made some of the changes you guys mentioned, and I still see issues, but now I can't tell if I'm making it worse lol *sob
This is gonna killlll meeee - I'm fishing for critique, but nothing drastic, I'm on a deadline. So even if it's the coolest idea in the world, I ain't got time to be drawing like a whole other character lol But help will be appreciated.
Note! This is for a centerfold for Eurofurence (not going lol but they asked me to do a piece yay), so there can't be anything important in the center, there's a reason for the crazy composition.
[ I see that mistep with the light lining up at the base of the wall - that'll be gone after I get some sleep ]
Thanks guys~
<strike>Oh I wonder where that graffiti came from</strike>

The pistol angle is off, I think! I can see what you were going for but the angle is just not translating to the eye. I think it would be more effective visually to center the barrel hole more over the hand and bulk up the outside of the gun.

Also the cat hanging on the wall needs to cast a little bit of a darker core shadow since she's getting hit by highlights.
Really nice stuff here!

Yep, been noticing that shadow behind the lighter cat now that I've taken a step back, and so far as the gun the perspective on the ref is right, but I think my edges aren't sharp enough and that's what's detracting. Probably need to darken his shadows as well, he's too bright at the moment I believe.
Thanks for the crit!

I agree with the JeweledHorn's points! Also maybe bring out the reflective lighting in the cat coming down on the left's face more. It's reading very dark and lacks in form compared to the rest of the piece but that might be my screen as well.
Your rendering, use of color and composition are extremely well done. I can tell a lot of hard work and time went into this. <3

Thank you! Still needs more though, always OTP
At first I wasn't sure what you were talking about *facepalm* So the one with its arms out? Yeah, face on those cats gets majorly lost in shadow, getting nothing from my ref, but I see what you mean, I'll see if I can figure out how to render that up with no ref lol

The tiger appears to be one of those who can empty a whole mag without hitting anything of consequence.
I guess tigers are more scary in melee anyways.
The anatomy, colors and light are all quite good, but I feel that they're shadowed by the 'feel' of this piece. Very distinct mood. Quite likable.
